Garbanzo beans are great with salads, but some people don't appreciate their slimy texture. My Mom knows an easy recipe where you toast them and sort of turn them into little round chips.
Here is the recipe. It's super easy if you have the ingredients. :)
What you need:
1 can of Garbanzo beans.
A toaster oven.
Grape seed oil.
Other seasonings (optional).
Pour one can of Garbanzo beans in a bowl (drain them first).
Roll them in a few spoonful's of grapeseed oil (just enough to cover them).
Pour the Garbanzo beans onto your toaster tray.
If you like, you can sprinkle salt and pepper or other spices on the beans according to your preferred taste.
Toast them until they are crunchy enough for you.
Then, Tada! Crunchy Garbanzo beans! They are delicious.
I hope this recipe is helpful. :)
Until Next Time,
Katherine Rose
