Bubbles |
There are four of them! Four little balls of fluff.
Bubbles, Platypus -which we call Puss and I like to call Puss-Puss, Mouse and the last one's name is Noodles, I think. We are having a little trouble deciding on its name.
Jane says its name is Noodles, but Claire keeps calling it Pup. Only time will tell which name is going to win :)
Mouse is mine. I call her Moe and Moe-Moe. It is a lot of fun to give a cat a one syllable nickname and then double it. It simply makes the nickname cuter. It seriously does; you should try it!
Kittens are just so much fun. I feel so blessed to be able to witness these cute little miracles as they grow and learn.
The one in the picture (Bubbles) is very mischievous and also extremely playful. I was tickling her stomach with a Dandelion that had gone to seed. She smacked it and then lurched when the seeds came off.
Noodles is very playful too, but sadly when she was trying to run in onto the porch she accidentally got hit by the door and trampled by our three large dogs.
Jane held her for a very long time after that. She seems to be very happy, but she isn't using her back legs at all.
Each little kitten has it's own personality and all three of them find great interest in Claire's flip-flops!
All in all. kittens are a wonderful experience.
Every child deserves a pet :) Especially a cute one like a kitten, and the best part about kittens is when they get older and become cats, they are still adorable and hilarious.
If laughter is truly good medicine, then a cat is a great way to distribute it!
Until Next Time,
Meredith
