Visting at Lake Tahoe

I started off my day late, but I am glad I did, because it was nice to get some rest. When I did finally get up, Mr. Ed and Mrs. Linda took us for a tour of their place. They are building a house out of an old barn and it isn't finished yet, but what they have of it is simply gorgeous.
Mrs. Linda finished showing us their farm. They harvest and sell desert seeds.

They also happen to have adorable tortoises. These tortoises are on the endangered species list. Mrs. Linda and Mr. Ed adopted them.

In the afternoon, we went to Lake Tahoe. It is the third deepest lake in North America. We went to Emerald Bay and looked out over it.

Then we drove down to a beach somewhere around Lake Tahoe and spent the majority of the day that we had left there.
I buried Jane in sand and of course we got wet and cold. We got back and had dinner and talked for a while before Claire, Jane and I turned ourselves in for the night.
Mom and Dad came in later and we all went to sleep.

Until Next Time,
    Katherine Rose
